Course Description:
This 20-Hour course meets the necessary classroom training required for the ETA (Electronics Technicians Association) and the FOA (Fiber Optics Association) "Installer" certification exam.
These internationally recognized certifications are nearly a must for technicians performing any fiber optic work today. FiberCamp can administrator both of these exams after the course is completed.
This course is also well-suited for those who want to learn how to properly install, terminate, and test fiber optic cables in local area networks that are commonly installed in schools, factories, businesses, etc. Splicing will be taught, but not as is depth as needed for outside plant needs.
